What I Did Over Winter Vacation

I have long admired Hieronymous Bosch's great masterpiece, the Garden of Earthly Delights. When I was a kid, I had a poster of it on my bedroom wall (yes, I was a weird kid.) Over Christmas break, I became obsessed with putting this jigsaw puzzle together. I've decided it's one of my life goals to see this great painting in person at the Prado.

OK, it's completely off topic ...

  1. FedUpMom: It's not completely off topic. My daughters and I love jigsaw puzzles, especially fine art puzzles. We don't have time to do them except during the summer because of . . . school/homework! (I also love cats, although I currently have a dog—my first, but he's actually kind of cat-like.)

Now I know why we have similar thinking FedUpMom...similar tastes as well. While I didn't have that on my wall...I had something similar. It was a piece of art wrapping paper that was full of detail about the arrival of some 17th century British monarch by ship...could have been the Spanish Armada in the background too..memory fades.

    Would have enjoyed that puzzle.
